ABSTRACT
The purpose of the study is to determine the impact of performance target on employee job satisfaction. The study was to examine how the working environment influence employee commitment in achieving a set target. The descriptive survey research design was used because the whole population cannot be effectively studied. For the purpose of this research, coca cola Nig Plc. was selected. A sample of eighty (80) staff was selected using quota sampling technique, the data collected from questionnaire was analyzed with statistical package for social science (SPSS) using correlation coefficient at 5% level of significance. The findings revealed that there is a moderate positive and significant correlation between work environment and employee’s commitment. The study recommended that employees in the organization should be offered with proper training to improve their commitment and job performance.
