ABSTRACT

This project is titled INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY AS A TOOL FOR CRAETING JOB OPPORTUNITIES IN NIGERIA. I was prompted to research on this project because many Nigerians roam the streets doing nothing when they can do something for their selves. I wanted to research and find the possible solutions to the unemployment rate in Nigeria, to bring to light the importance of I.C.T in creating job opportunities in Nigeria. my objective is to examine the relationship between ICT and the employment generation in Nigeria, analyze the challenges militating against ICT job opportunities in Nigeria and proffer possible solutions to the problems .i used the secondary method of research and found out that our youths are ignorant of the fact that many jobs out there that are brought about by ICT .i recommend that seminars are held for the youth where they will be taught/lectured on ICT jobs.
