ABSTRACT
This study was intended to examine business education students’ entrepreneurship skills acquisition and the attainment of sustainable development. This study was guided by the following objectives; to examine the entrepreneurship skills required by business education students in attaining a sustainable development, to identify the factor limiting the development of entrepreneurial skills in business education and to examine the role of entrepreneurship skill acquisition in sustainable development of Kosefe Local Government Area. The study employed the descriptive and explanatory design; questionnaires in addition to library research were applied in order to collect data. Primary and secondary data sources were used and data was analyzed using the chi square statistical tool at 5% level of significance which was presented in frequency tables and percentage. The respondents under the study were 100 business education students in Kosefe Local Government Area. The study findings revealed that majority of the respondents are of the opinion that universities should focus more on training entrepreneurial skills to students; based on the findings from the study, government should ensure that educational programmes at all levels of education are relevant and functional to the graduate youth that needed entrepreneurship skills.
