The aim of this project examines the technological impact on the advancement of office managers at workplace. The researcher in order to carry out an effective and efficient research reviewed some relevant literature on the issue to form the theoretical aspect of the topic. The researcher adopted the questionnaire as the main instrument used for collecting data for the study. The questionnaire consists of fourteen (13) questions which were submitted to the project supervisor for correction and approval. The data obtained were critically analyzed and evaluated using the simple percentage method for accuracy and simplicity. The population of the study was 50 management staff and professional secretaries in each of the selected organizations in Port Harcourt, out of which 40 respondents were used as the sample size. The findings of the research revealed that there are new office technologies to help the office managers enhance their performance in their various offices. There is also an agreement that technological advancement affects the performance of the office manager thereby improving the demand for modern office managers and increases its demand for employment. Based on the above findings, it was recommended that; both government and private organizations should procure adequate modern office technology/equipment to enhance the productivity of their secretaries. Also, office managers should undergo regular training on the usage of new technological gadgets in order to enhance their skill and keep them abreast with the technological dynamism in the 21st century.
