ABSTRACT The research has attempted to study age grades association as agents of rural development, with a case study of nkpor uno town in idemili north local government area of anambra state to have a vivid understanding of this work, the work has divided into five chapters. Chapter one dealt with introduction such asback groundof the study, statement of the problems, purpose of the study, significance of the study and definition of teams. Chapter two deal with literature review and comprises of the concept of rural development, age grade associations contribution towards rural development, sources of finance to age grade association, community participation in rural development, the organization of age grade association problems in organization of rural development programmes and summary of literature. Chapter 3 (three) dealt with brief out loveofthe study, design of the study, sample of the study, instrument data collection and validation of the instrument. Chapter four contains data presentation and analysis with finding. Chapter five finally contains summary of findings recommendations, conclusion, limitations of the study and suggestions for further studies.
