ABSTRACT This research presents an investigation of the importance of instilling moral values in children at their early age, who to instill the values and the challenges faced in Kamariny, Zone, Keiyo District. Sample of 45 respondents (parents), religious leaders, caregivers, pre-school teachers and primary teachers were used in the study. These respondents were from different schools in the Kamariny Zone. The primary teachers, pre-school teachers and religious leaders responded to the questionnaires on the importance of instilling moral values in children at early age and face to face interview was conducted on the same subject. The data was analyzed using frequency distribution, tables, bar graphs and percentages. The findings of the study reviewed that moral values instilled in children at their early ages, will develop good relationship with others, both in their childhood and during their old days. The study recommended that both teachers and parents are responsible for instilling moral values in children and at the same time, attachment of children by the parents should be developed when children are still young as this lay foundation for all social relationship. Parents should always pray together with their children and teach the about God.
