ABSTRACT Uhis study investigated on the Influence of Teacher’s Qualifications on their Performance in Viubende District. The main aim of this study was to investigate on the extent to which the ;eachers’ qualifications on their performance. It was found out that the teacher is the determinant )f student performance therefore improving teachers quality in form of their qualifications since t is them that influence learning outcomes. In fact it was noted that Teacher is one way of lefining quality teaching” (Fenstermacher and Richardson, 2005). Chapter one of these studies expounds on the background of the study, statement of the problem and the objectives as well as he significance of the study. Chapter two consisted the literature review which was a critical itation of the existing literature by other researchers who examined the same topic and whose indings were found to be relevant to this study. Chapter three describes the methodology used to ~ome up with the findings in this study while chapter four and five consist the record of results is analyzed and discussed in the field. The study found out that the teachers’ qualification ;trongly affects their performance in secondary schools and ther researcher recommended that a ;eroious emphasis and attention should be put on the factors that improve teachers’ qualification.
