Abstract This research work is an attempt to critically and exhaustively examine the impact of personnel management in organization. The purpose of this work is to determine the impacts of effective personnel management in organizational performance, the problems, roles and factors that affect personnel management and how to maximize productivity. The research high light the introduction of the study. The literature review relating to impact of personnel management was analyzed. The questionnaire was draw up and with IT, data was collected. The population of the study was three hundred and from this, samples were draw. The information obtained from the questionnaire were analyzed using tables and percentages. Five research question was formulated which help guide the study. The major finding of the study were: the method of reward is not clearly recognized or stated. The manager does not understand the capabilities and limitations of employees. The leadership structure affects workers performance. The way management handles promotion is not encouraging. There is always a visible and invisible conflict between management staff. It was concluded that it offers understanding among staff, it reduces high incidence of labour unrest, it fosters proper co-ordination of staff and their activities in the organization, it improve employees job skill through in service and evening course etc. the major recommendation were that fund should always be made available as it is very vital in running an organization. Management should always pay their workers as it when due.
