The effort of dedicating time and other resources to this project not only focuses on academic career, but also on discovering events within the environment in which people work in. this research aimed at providing insights into how managerial leadership styles and behaviour influence and affect the rate at which employees join and leave an organization's premises. The study was conducted to examine the relationship between different leadership styles on labour turnover in organizations. The study objective included; to establish leadership styles in national water and sewerage co-operation Namasuba branch, to establish major causes of labour turnover, to establish the relationship between leadership styles and labour turnover. The methodology used by the researcher was analytical and quantitative research design and the data collected was the secondary type of data. The researcher reviewed the collected data in order to analyze and present research report in accordance with the research objectives. Findings from this research revealed that a consultative, democratic, and participative or team approach towards management of an organization, can be driving force by subordinates and supervisors/leaders more effective and efficient work can be achieved thus commitment evident in such an organization. Evidence is given that positive correlation co-exists between the styles of leadership employed in organizations, leadership behaviour, personal variables and labour turnover. Therefore have to decide on styles that maximizes organizational benefits.
