ABSTRACT The purposes of the study were to evaluate the level of material management ad and to ace1iain if its cause is the reason for the poor quality of organizational performance by the local government makindye division-Buziga health centre. The objectives of the study were to a certain material management administration measures in Buziga health centre, to certain services offered the quality of organizational performance of Buziga healthy centre and to a certain, the relationship between material management administration and the quality of the service delivered to people of makindye division- Buziga health centre. The study included both qualitative and quantitative methods of data collection. They used 30 respondents mainly in mate1ial management department, Health centre administrators, health centre staff and some local government officials of makindye division . It was found that the health administration measures were considered that is; material assessment, organization performance evaluation, and setting guidelines in material assessments, employing competent staff are used in the health centt·e. The findings also showed that there are services offered by the local government to the public as their reback for their effort paid as in tens of public service delivery using grants and government revenues these services include; health centres, roads, and schools. There is a strong positive relationship between material management administration and quality service delivery according to the findings. The research addresses that there is still a need for health administrators to increase their monitoring and reviewing of material management in health centres. The researchers, therefore, recommend the entire health administration in conjunction with organizational performance always deliver services to the public as expected from them this shall improve their organizational performance.
