ABSTRACT The research was conducted in kayole zone Embakasi division, Nairobi Kenya. The first objective was to investigate the availability of instructional materials in kayole zone Embakasi division, Nairobi district pre-scholars. The research was investigated in line with the objectives of the study and this guided the researcher to make the findings. The first research question sought to investigating availability of instructional materials. The study discovered that; text books films, TV, projectors, chairs black board and radios were the available instructional materials given by the respondents. The second research question sought to investigate the sustainability of learning resources in kayole zone Embakasi division, Nairobi district pre- school. The third research question sought to impact of learning materials in kayole zone. The answers given by respondents to this researcher question were therefore as follows; good performances, sense of belonging, participation, courage, academic interest, were the answers given by the respondents.
