The main aim of the study was to find out the impact of transition from pre primary to lower primary on learning in Wandiege Primary school. The study used 16 teachers of Wandiege Primary school as subjects. From the study it was found that there was a sic~a tificant impact of transition from pre-primary to lower primary on learning in Wandiege Primary school: This project is made up of five chapters. Chapter one deals with the introductory part of the research. It talks about the background of the study, the theory, hypothesis, objectives and significance of the study. This is the chapter that gives the real foundation of the study.

Chapter two is literature review. It gives an insight into different views of authors trying to highlight on transition from pre primary to lower primary. Specifically, this chapter talks about the challenges of transition, disparities, causes of absenteeism, factors aiding proper transition and finally the impact of transition on learning.

Chapter three deals with the research methodology. It includes design, environment, respondents, instruments, data collection procedures and statistical treatment of data. It specifies how the data was collected and analyzed to come up with concussions.
