The study examines use of Facebook memes stickers as a medium of self expression among students. The objectives of the study were to examine; the reasons for use of Facebook memes stickers for self expression among students, the types of self-expression Facebook memes stickers are used for, the effect of Facebook memes stickers. The research work was conducted using primary and secondary sources, that is the through administering of questionnaires. Survey was the method used and l25 respondents were purposively selected among University of Maiduguri Students. The findings show that the respondents use of Facebook memes stickers as a medium of self-expression and they use it is for easy expression. The study further found that respondent use Facebook memes because it is quick to use and does not take much time, it conveys quick meaning to the recipients. The study concludes that although there are challenges in the use of Facebook memes for self expression, the respondents find it useful as a means of quick and easy self expression. The study recommends that users of the memes should take more time to understand the meaning of the memes before using it as a means of self expression.
