The study was to investigate peer influence and aggression among the youth in Lwengo District, Uganda. The study had four research questions and three objectives which included; To establish social determinants of peer influence on youth in Lwengo To establish the economic determinants of peer influence on youth in Lwengo To analyze the causes of youth violence in Lwengo District To evaluate the influence of media violence on the youth media It was revealed in that there were social determinants of peer influence on youth in Lwengo :·epresented by 62.5/%. The findings indicated that family, social networks, and peer pressure represented by I 0.4% was Jne of the social determinants of peer influence on youth in Lwengo, 20.8% new drug-related xoblems have emerged, 18.7% negative trends in other psychosocial problems, 22.9% western ,ociety is undergoing rapid change, 12.5% children and adolescents and finally 14.5% adults. lmong social determinants of peer influence on youth in Lwengo, Western society is undergoing .·apid change have emerged took the highest percentage of22.9%. The findings showed that 30 out of 48 respondents represented by 62.5% argued that there were ~conomic determinants of peer influence on youth in Lwengo while 18 (37.5%) respondents ,uggested that there were no economic determinants of peer influence on youth in Lwengo. The findings showed 11 out 48 respondents represented by 22.9% argued that media influence >Vas one of the causes of youth violence in Lwengo district, 6(12.5%) your teen's neighborhood, 5(10.4) and 5(10.4) domestic and child abuse and insufficient parental Supervision respectively, 10(20.8%) peer pressure, 6 (12.5%) drug use, 2( 4.1 %) traumatic events and 3(6.2%) mental illness. This implied that media influence was the major cause of youth violence in Lwengo jistrict.
