ABSTRACT

This project is designed specifically to investigate peoples’ view about co-educational system on student’s academic performance in co-educational institution in Agatu local government area of Benue state. This project is divided into five chapters: first chapter is introduction which observes the background of the study, the statement of the problem, purpose of the study, limitation and scope of the study. Chapter two deals with the review of related literatures and opinions from other people work on “effects of co-educational system on academic performance of students”, Chapter three discusses the methods employed in collecting data .the research method adopted in the investigation of this phenomenon is the questionnaire technique and interview method. The questionnaires were distributed to respondents using random sampling. Chapter four is the data analysis, chapter five, the last chapter deals with summary conclusion and recommendation of the research work, suggestions for further investigation and critical analysis.
