This study was carried out to determine the factors militating against the use of online learning during the era of Covid-19 in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. The study adopted survey research design approach to investigate human resource development factors militating against the use of online learning system during COVID-19 era in University of Nigeria Nsukka, infrastructural challenge factors militating against the use of online learning system during COVID-19 era and institutional/administrative factors militating against the use of online learning, hence three research questions were posed to guide the study. The population for the study is 3126 which comprises 3035 academic staffs and 91 information and communication technology (ICT) staff from the university. The data analyzed was obtained from the sample of the study is 160 which comprise 155 academic staff and 5 information and communication technology (ICT) staff from the university. A stratified random sampling technique was used to select 5% academics staff from the University and 5% staff of information and communication technology (ICT) University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu State. The instrument used for data collection was structured as factor militating against online learning Questionnaire (FMOLQ) which was made up of 39 items that covered the 3 research questions formulated to guide the study which was validated by three experts. The researcher visited 155 academic staff offices and 5 information and communication technology (ICT) staff office from University of Nigeria Nsukka. The data collected from the respondents rated on 4 point likert scale from “accepted” to “not accepted”. The raw score was converted into mean score and used to determine the result of the investigation. The findings on the research questions indicated that 38 items were accepted and 1 item was not accepted. It was recommended that lecturers, students, ministry of education, the societies, researchers and curriculum planners should make use of the findings of this study to order to have a continuous learning process even in the face of any pandemic or epidemic.
