ABSTRACT
This project is aimed at establishing or reputing the general feeling that Abs is subservient to the government of the day and finding out if news items that are anti-government one can bored and whether the audience that perceive their news programmes objective and indepth in its approach. It is also aimed at finding out the disparity between the local and urban coverage whether there is a free flow of information from rural to urban entries and vice-versa and if there is a rapport between the organization and the listeners.
At this age of sophisticated and enlightened society and with the increasing number of media house coupled with the resultant competition wine finds out almost imperative to delve into a research to determine the audience perception of media message.
To make for objectivity, the researcher will keep or estate distance and see these propositions in the audience eyes, it is in the light of these promises that the researcher have gone not this survey. She hopes that this humble work will invariably serve as an evalusive tool for the ABS to re-adjust their news content and style and aial communicate researchers in subsequent study in related fields.
